You write a novel as brilliant as Animal Farm, which is easy to read and symbolic at the same time, and then you go and stoop down to the level of Payne. This essay on the American Language is a pain in the butt to read. It's Payne + politics, which is a horrible combination.
I've heard great things about 1984 so I won't give up on you YET.
